Axel's take: 9.1/10

A standout extended-stay choice for clean suites, helpful staff and useful outdoor space. a 3-star Marriott all-suite hotel geared toward longer stays, scored for what it is.

This 3-star Marriott all-suite hotel is a strong pick for families and longer stays, rather than travelers seeking a Scottsdale resort. Tripadvisor, Expedia and Booking.com guests consistently praise the cleanliness, roomy layouts and genuinely helpful staff. Full kitchens make settling in easy, while included hot breakfast, an outdoor pool, hot tub and courtyard games give it more appeal than a purely practical overnight stop. We'd choose it for spring training or a comfortable working week.

The main compromise is location: useful for driving around Scottsdale, less appealing for walking out to restaurants or Old Town. The pool is shared with the neighboring Courtyard and can get busy, and breakfast earns some mixed reviews despite plenty of praise. Parking and pets cost extra. Some 2026 guests also mention nearby roadwork, so check access before arrival. We'd skip it for a car-free sightseeing trip.

• Best for: families wanting kitchen-equipped suites; extended stays and business trips; spring-training visitors with a car

• Watch out for: limited walkable dining and sightseeing; shared pool can get busy; parking and pet charges

• Location: Convenient driving base for Salt River Fields and Scottsdale; not an Old Town walking location.

• Rooms: Spacious studios and suites with full kitchens; occasional guests mention sound transfer or noisy air-conditioning.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Expedia and Booking.com guest feedback.

• Service: Repeated praise for welcoming front-desk, breakfast and housekeeping teams, including on longer stays.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, shared outdoor pool and hot tub, gym, laundry, courtyard games and Agave Cantina.

• Fees and surprises: Paid parking; Marriott lists both stay-based and nightly pet charges, plus a paid local shuttle—not an airport shuttle.
