Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong family base with roomy suites, helpful staff and useful included extras. a practical 3-star, all-suite extended-stay hotel off Loop 101, scored for what it is.

This practical 3-star extended-stay hotel is a strong pick for families and longer visits, especially with a car. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean suites and friendly staff. In-room kitchens, free breakfast and parking make it good value, while the outdoor pool adds appeal between outings to nearby attractions. Think comfortable, self-sufficient base rather than Scottsdale resort.

The trade-offs are a location away from Old Town and housekeeping that guests report runs every other day. Some June 2026 guests on Expedia and Tripadvisor described reduced breakfast service and staffing gaps, although later Expedia reviews are largely positive about both breakfast and staff. We'd choose it for space and practicality; skip it if you want walkable nightlife, daily room servicing or full-service pampering.

• Best for: families traveling with a car; longer stays with kitchen facilities; visits to nearby family attractions

• Watch out for: away from Old Town nightlife; every-other-day housekeeping reported; some reports of inconsistent breakfast service

• Location: Off Loop 101 near family attractions and Salt River Fields; better suited to drivers than an Old Town walking break.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with in-room kitchens; room size and comfort draw consistent praise.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, with recent Expedia guests repeatedly describing clean rooms.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength, despite occasional reports of staffing and follow-through problems.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus an outdoor pool, gym and EV charging; no airport shuttle.

• Fees and surprises: Pets incur a nonrefundable fee; confirm housekeeping arrangements for longer stays.
