Axel's take: 8.2/10

A strong apartment-style base with a rooftop pool, but uneven hotel service. A modern mid-range apartment hotel in Bella Vista, not a conventional five-star hotel, scored for what it is.

Brickell is a modern mid-range apartment hotel in Bella Vista, not the full-service five-star experience some listings suggest. We'd pick it for longer stays: separate living areas, kitchens and balconies make it practical, while the rooftop pool adds appeal. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, comfort and access to restaurants and shopping.

The trade-off is less consistent service than the polished apartments suggest. Recent Tripadvisor feedback ranges from enthusiastic staff praise to frustrating reception encounters; one January 2026 guest also found the rooftop bar closed. The hotel's own site warns that furnishings vary and some categories have partially obstructed views. Expedia lists a damage deposit and extra charges for breakfast and airport transfers. We'd skip it for a pampered luxury stay, but it's a strong self-catering base.

• Best for: Longer stays with self-catering; Business travelers in Bella Vista; Couples wanting apartment space

• Watch out for: Uneven reception service; Furnishings and views vary by apartment; Confirm rooftop bar opening hours

• Location: Bella Vista puts restaurants and shopping nearby; this is not a Colonial Zone sightseeing base.

• Rooms: Apartment layouts include kitchens, living areas and balconies; some categories have partially obstructed views.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but reception complaints make service less dependable than room comfort.

• Amenities: Rooftop pool, gym, free parking and dining facilities; a guest reported the rooftop bar closed during a January 2026 stay.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a damage deposit, paid breakfast and airport transfers, and a no-pets policy contrary to the catalog.
