Axel's take: 7.8/10

A convenient Las Condes base, but ongoing renovations make it a qualified recommendation. An upscale business-and-suite hotel in Las Condes, scored for what it is.

Plaza El Bosque Ebro is an upscale business-and-suite hotel whose strongest assets are location and space. Tobalaba metro, Costanera Center and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable beds and breakfast, while the executive suites offer considerably more room than standard doubles. It’s a good fit for business trips and families who choose their room category carefully.

The reservation is maintenance: October 2026 reviews still report work affecting some floors, following repeated complaints about renovation noise, water interruptions and slow lifts. Some guests like the remodeled rooms; others describe aging bathrooms and uneven problem handling. Overall cleanliness ratings remain strong, so this isn’t a blanket warning about housekeeping. We’d confirm construction schedules and room condition before booking, and skip it if daytime quiet or consistently polished service is essential.

• Best for: Business travelers working in Las Condes; Families booking executive suites; Visitors prioritizing shopping and metro access

• Watch out for: Renovation work still reported in October 2026; Recurring water and lift complaints; Standard rooms are much smaller than suites

• Location: Walkable to Tobalaba metro, Costanera Center and numerous restaurants; not in the historic center.

• Rooms: The hotel lists 24-square-meter standards and 50-square-meter executive suites; condition varies.

• Cleanliness: Strong aggregate cleanliness scores, although individual recent bathroom complaints warrant checking.

• Service: Staff warmth earns frequent praise; handling maintenance problems receives more mixed feedback.

• Amenities: The hotel lists a heated indoor pool on floor 17, gym, games room, buffet breakfast and complimentary guest parking.

• Fees and surprises: Pets and airport transfers cost extra; confirm breakfast inclusion and any construction-related disruption.
