Hotels in Santa MartaA simple independent beach-area hotel in El Rodadero
8.0/10
A friendly, well-located beach base, with practical comforts rather than resort polish.
Hotel Rodadero Dorado is a simple independent hotel two blocks from El Rodadero beach, and we'd pick it for a practical, good-value stay. Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff and convenient location; Expedia's July 2026 review also highlights cleanliness. Air-conditioned rooms accommodate couples and families, while the restaurant and jacuzzi add useful extras without making this a full-service resort.
The trade-offs are mostly practical: Expedia lists no elevator or onsite parking, and its smaller review sample is less enthusiastic overall. One March 2025 guest reported slow cooling and restrictions on leaving the air-conditioning running. Breakfast inclusion and reception hours differ between the official website and booking listings, so confirm both directly. We'd skip it if step-free access or guaranteed round-the-clock arrival support is essential.
