Seacliff Inn is a garden-style mid-range hotel just off Highway 1, not a beachfront resort. We'd pick it for an easy Aptos getaway: landscaped grounds, a koi pond, heated pool and Sevy's restaurant give it more character than a basic roadside stop. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and the pool; Tripadvisor guests also appreciate the gardens and dining, although their overall verdict is considerably less favorable.
The main reservations are recurring reports of thin walls and uneven service, including missed housekeeping requests. Rooms and bathrooms can feel compact, and there are no elevators to the upper floor. Parking and breakfast cost extra.
