#5 of 9 hotels in Antea & Jurica by Axel's take. Antea & Jurica is #7 of 7 places to stay in Queretaro. The best hotels in Antea & Jurica, ranked · Where to stay in Queretaro

Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong business base by Antea, less practical for exploring the historic center. a modern Marriott business hotel opposite Antea mall, scored for what it is.

AC Hotel Queretaro Antea is a modern Marriott business hotel in Jurica, opposite Antea Lifestyle Center. It's a strong pick for northern Querétaro business trips or shopping weekends: Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The contemporary design, complimentary parking, gym and indoor pool make it a well-rounded option rather than a luxury stay.

The main compromise is location: despite Marriott's downtown wording, this isn't a historic-center base, so plan on transport for sightseeing. Breakfast earns plenty of praise, but several 2026 Expedia guests criticize food quality or restaurant service, making dining less dependable than the rooms. Breakfast also costs extra unless included in your booking. We'd choose it for convenience around Antea, but skip it for a walkable old-town holiday or if consistently polished dining is a priority.

  • Best for: business travelers visiting northern Querétaro; Antea shopping weekends; travelers with a car

  • Watch out for: transport needed for historic-center sightseeing; uneven restaurant food and service; breakfast usually costs extra

  • Location: In Jurica opposite Antea mall; convenient for shopping, not for walking around the historic center.

  • Rooms: Modern, functional rooms with strong comfort ratings; some guests find standard rooms compact.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com ratings and recent Expedia feedback.

  • Service: Helpful staff attract repeated praise; restaurant service receives more mixed feedback.

  • Amenities: Indoor pool, gym, lounge and free parking; confirm pool availability after scheduled September 2026 maintenance.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast is not automatically included; Marriott allows one pet up to 20 kg with a nightly fee.
