Archaeological finds give the interiors genuine local interest. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise attentive staff, spacious rooms and excellent cleanliness; the location puts Petit-Champlain and the waterfront within easy walking distance. We’d choose it for a romantic city break with thoughtful service.

The main caveat is the Union Bank expansion: work is underway, with new rooms, a spa and rooftop dining planned for mid-2027. Some guests report construction noise, so request a room away from the works rather than assuming silence. Room layouts and views vary, breakfast is not universally included, and valet parking costs extra. Upper Town sightseeing involves steep climbs or transport.
