A possible group base, but confirm the basics before committing. 3-star self-catering villas near Cocotal Golf, not a beachfront resort, scored for what it is.

This is a 3-star villa collection near Cocotal Golf, better suited to self-catering groups than travelers wanting a conventional hotel. Expedia and Hotels.com list kitchens, an outdoor pool, gardens and free parking: practical reasons to consider it if independence matters more than resort service. The supplied Hyatt website belongs to Dreams Royal Beach, a different property—not this villa collection.

We'd book cautiously. Recent, readable guest feedback is too limited to establish consistent cleanliness or service; Tripadvisor has no reviews for this listing. More importantly, Expedia and Hotels.com explicitly list no hot water, while Expedia requires advance arrival coordination and says after-hours check-in is unavailable. Confirm these restrictions directly before paying. Skip it if you want beach access on foot, late-arrival flexibility or dependable full-service hotel comforts.

• Best for: Self-catering families and groups; Golf-focused travelers with a car

• Watch out for: Listings explicitly warn of no hot water; Restricted check-in; advance coordination required; Limited verifiable recent guest feedback

• Location: Near Cocotal Golf; plan on transport to the beaches.

• Rooms: Multi-bedroom villas with kitchens; confirm the exact unit and facilities.

• Cleanliness: Insufficient recent guest evidence to judge consistency.

• Service: Limited reception; contact the property at least 72 hours before arrival.

• Amenities: Listings include an outdoor pool, gardens, barbecue facilities and free Wi-Fi.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a daily cash deposit per accommodation; verify its terms and the no-hot-water warning.
