Axel's take: 8.1/10

A comfortable, good-value base with skyline views, but dated rooms and a metro commute. a large, older 4-star business hotel in Prague 4, scored for what it is.

Panorama by Verdi is a large, older four-star business hotel in Prague 4, not an Old Town address despite the website’s wording. We’d pick it for comfortable beds, reliable cleanliness and good value rather than boutique character. Booking.com, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff and generous breakfast. Nearby Pankrác metro and Arkády shopping mall make the location practical, while the 24th-floor pool and wellness area add impressive views.

The trade-off is an interior that many recent guests still find dated. Elevator waits recur across reviews; management acknowledged lift modernization in April 2026, and summer guests still reported delays. Some guests also describe noisy, ineffective air-conditioning. Classic rooms carry an extra wellness-access charge, and parking costs extra. It’s a strong choice if you’re happy using transit; we’d skip it for contemporary luxury or sightseeing entirely on foot.

Best for: value-minded city breakers comfortable using the metro; business travelers in Prague 4; travelers who enjoy skyline views and wellness facilities
Watch out for: dated interiors and recurring elevator waits; some reports of noisy, weak air-conditioning; wellness access costs extra with Classic rooms
Location: Outside the historic center, near Pankrác metro and Arkády mall; plan on transit for sightseeing.
Rooms: Comfortable beds and appealing upper-floor views, but furnishings and bathrooms show their age.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Trip.com reviews.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff receive broad praise, despite occasional reports of uneven problem handling.
Amenities: Top-floor indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and gym, plus restaurants and a well-reviewed breakfast.
Fees and surprises: Classic-room wellness access and parking cost extra; check breakfast inclusion and current lift-work status.
