#8 of 9 hotels in Vyšehrad & Congress Centre by Axel's take. Vyšehrad & Congress Centre is #8 of 9 places to stay in Prague. The best hotels in Vyšehrad & Congress Centre, ranked · Where to stay in Prague

Axel's take: 6.8/10

Good budget basics, but thin walls and neighboring construction undermine the appeal. a no-frills 2-star hotel in a Prague sports complex, scored for what it is.

Hotel Hasa is a no-frills 2-star in a Vršovice sports complex, best treated as a practical budget base rather than a city-break treat. Private bathrooms, free outdoor parking and nearby trams make it useful for drivers and sports visitors. Booking.com and Expedia guests generally rate the staff and value more highly than the facilities; friendly reception and straightforward, clean accommodation are recurring positives.

The trade-offs are substantial even at this level: dated furnishings, thin walls and some inconsistent housekeeping. More importantly, the hotel currently warns of neighboring-building reconstruction, with daytime noise and dust; 2026 guests describe work starting around 7 a.m. Reception closes at 8 p.m., so arrange any late arrival beforehand. We'd consider it for a short, inexpensive stay, but skip it for lie-ins, daytime rest or modern comfort.

  • Best for: budget travelers with a car; visitors to the sports complex; short stays with modest expectations

  • Watch out for: neighboring construction noise and dust; thin walls and dated rooms; reception closes at 8 p.m.

  • Location: Near Havlíčkovy Sady and Vršovice tram and rail stops; sightseeing usually involves transit.

  • Rooms: Basic en-suite rooms with older furnishings; thin walls recur in guest feedback, and upper floors require stairs.

  • Cleanliness: Generally positive aggregate scores, but several guests report missed bathroom cleaning or dusty surfaces.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful reception is a consistent strength; published reception hours are 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi and outdoor parking; the complex includes an ice rink and tennis courts.

  • Fees and surprises: Garage parking costs extra; neighboring reconstruction is currently disclosed by the hotel.
