Axel's take: 9.5/10

An exceptional sightseeing base with spotless rooms, generous breakfasts and genuinely helpful staff. a contemporary 4-star hotel in Prague’s historic center, scored for what it is.

Hotel CUBE is a contemporary 4-star in Prague’s historic center, not the basic 3-star its catalog listing suggests. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want comfortable rooms and thoughtful service rather than grand-hotel formality. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the cleanliness, helpful staff and generous breakfast buffet. Recent reviews also describe effective air conditioning and surprisingly quiet rooms for such a central address.

The practical catches are mostly about choosing and budgeting correctly. Parking costs extra and requires advance reservation; the sauna and whirlpool are a paid private wellness session, not unrestricted spa access. Room layouts vary, with duplex suites and a presidential apartment reached by stairs, so confirm access if mobility matters. We’d choose it for a walking-focused city break; skip it if step-free access throughout your accommodation is essential and hasn’t been confirmed.

• Best for: couples exploring Prague on foot; travelers prioritizing cleanliness and service; families wanting larger suites or apartments

• Watch out for: paid parking requires advance reservation; private wellness costs extra; some accommodation has internal stairs or stair-only access

• Location: Central yet frequently described as quiet; Národní třída metro and trams are about four minutes away on foot.

• Rooms: Modern rooms with coffee machines; Superior rooms start at 25 square meters, with larger suites and apartments available.

• Cleanliness: A standout across sites, with consistently strong guest praise for rooms and bathrooms.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise welcoming staff, responsive assistance and thoughtful small extras.

• Amenities: Highly praised breakfast, gym, lobby bar, and a private sauna-and-whirlpool wellness area.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and private wellness are charged separately; confirm the access arrangements for your specific room.
