Hotel Carlton is a traditional 4-star in Žižkov, and we’d pick it for a comfortable city break rather than luxury trimmings. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, generous room sizes and a varied breakfast. The breakfast room occupies the building’s original vaulted cellars, adding character. With restaurants nearby and handy trams into central Prague, it’s a strong alternative to staying among the Old Town crowds.
