Hotels in Portland, MaineA simple, limited-service 3-star near the airport and Maine Mall
8.2/10
A practical airport stop with useful freebies, but housekeeping and noise can disappoint.
This simple, limited-service 3-star across from Maine Mall is a strong pick for an airport overnight or a short, car-based visit. Hilton confirms a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle, hot breakfast and parking during your stay. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms; Booking.com feedback broadly agrees. The communal lobby, with games and a pool table, adds something beyond the basics.
The trade-offs are compact, minimalist rooms and uneven attention to detail. Several 2025–2026 Tripadvisor guests report missed cleaning or empty toiletries, and Expedia also has reports of imperfect cleaning and noise from neighboring rooms. Those complaints matter, although the overall feedback remains positive. We'd skip it for a spacious, quiet retreat or a Portland trip centered on walking around downtown.
