Axel's take: 7.6/10

Roomy suites and breakfast add value, but maintenance remains uneven. a mid-range, all-suite hotel beside Biltmore Fashion Park, scored for what it is.

This mid-range, all-suite Embassy Suites is a good pick for extra space and walkable shopping and dining beside Biltmore Fashion Park. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the roomy suites, breakfast and friendly staff. Included cooked-to-order breakfast and an evening reception make it good bang for your buck, while an outdoor pool adds appeal for families. The project architect confirms the lobby and public-area renovation finished in 2025.

The refresh hasn't eliminated inconsistent upkeep. Recent Tripadvisor and Trip.com reviews describe recurring air-conditioning failures, plumbing problems and uneven housekeeping, alongside plenty of clean, comfortable stays. Parking costs extra, and breakfast queues can build. We'd choose it for suite space and location, but skip it if dependable room condition and cooling matter more than the included extras.

• Best for: families wanting separate living space; Biltmore shopping and dining; business travelers who value breakfast

• Watch out for: recurring cooling and plumbing complaints; uneven housekeeping; paid parking and breakfast queues

• Location: Beside Biltmore Fashion Park, with shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

• Rooms: Spacious two-room layouts; recent guests still report cooling and plumbing faults.

• Cleanliness: Positive overall, but housekeeping consistency varies across recent reports.

• Service: Friendly breakfast and bar teams earn praise; problem handling is less consistent.

• Amenities: Included cooked-to-order breakfast, evening reception, outdoor pool, gym and restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Self-parking and pets cost extra; the public-area renovation finished in 2025.
