Hotels in PerthA budget apartment-style hotel on the eastern edge of Perth’s CBD
6.7/10
Useful space and friendly staff, but tired rooms make this a qualified budget pick.
Goodearth is a budget apartment-style hotel in East Perth, best chosen for practicality rather than polish. Studios and suites offer kitchenettes, while standard hotel rooms do not. The Swan River is nearby, and buses make the city centre accessible. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, spacious rooms and free parking. It's a reasonable option for travelers who want room to spread out without paying for a smarter hotel.
The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Recent reviews across Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com describe dated interiors, uneven housekeeping and unpleasant smells, alongside guests reporting clean, comfortable stays. Noise from neighboring rooms and corridors also comes up. Free parking has limited bays and cannot be reserved. We'd skip it if you're a light sleeper or expect reliably fresh, well-maintained rooms.
