A practical ski base with generous space, but choose your condo carefully.
Silver King is a mid-range condo hotel, not a full-service resort, and it’s a strong pick for families who prioritize space and ski access over polish. Individually owned studios and larger condos offer full kitchens, fireplaces and in-unit laundry. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the location, while recent reviews also highlight helpful staff and the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The lifts are a short walk away—not true ski-in/ski-out—and free public buses make trips downtown straightforward.
The main compromise is consistency: furnishings and upkeep vary by unit, with recurring reports of worn interiors and smaller maintenance problems alongside many comfortable, clean stays. Check photos of the exact condo. Booking.com listed roof work through October 1, 2026; completion remains unconfirmed, so ask before booking. We’d skip it for uniformly modern rooms or luxury-level service.
