Axel's take: 5.3/10

A budget fallback whose cleanliness concerns outweigh the savings. a no-frills 2-star beside Paris’s northern ring road, scored for what it is.

This is a no-frills 2-star beside the northern ring road, not a base in picturesque Montmartre. We’d consider it only for a short, budget-first stop: Saint-Ouen’s flea markets are nearby, and there’s free Wi-Fi and round-the-clock reception. Some Expedia guests report clean rooms and helpful staff, but the overall picture is below what even a simple hotel should deliver.

The trade-offs go beyond small rooms. Tripadvisor guests describe inconsistent cleaning and poor problem handling, while several September–October 2026 reviews on Accor’s own site report cockroaches. Recent Accor and Expedia guests also mention overheating and traffic noise; surrounding streets draw repeated complaints about litter and an uncomfortable atmosphere. We’d skip it for a first Paris trip, a summer stay or anyone who prioritizes dependable cleanliness over savings.

  • Best for: budget-first overnight stops; flea-market visitors comfortable with basic accommodation

  • Watch out for: recurring cleanliness and recent cockroach reports; overheating and ring-road noise; unpleasant surrounding streets

  • Location: Near Saint-Ouen’s flea markets; roughly 7–10 minutes to the metro, outside scenic Montmartre.

  • Rooms: Compact rooms of about 11–12 m²; guests repeatedly report heat and noise.

  • Cleanliness: Mixed feedback, with multiple recent cockroach reports on Accor’s own review feed.

  • Service: Some helpful staff, but recurring complaints about attitude and resolving problems.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, breakfast buffet and paid covered parking.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast and parking cost extra; triple-room bunk beds come unmade, with bedding supplied.
