Axel's take: 8.3/10

A practical Osaka base with excellent subway access, tiny rooms and welcome public baths. A large 3-star business-hotel tower directly connected to Hommachi Station, scored for what it is.

This large 3-star business-hotel tower is a strong pick for exploring Osaka without paying for space you barely use. Direct access to Hommachi Station’s Exit 18 makes getting around easy, while the public baths, buffet restaurant and in-house FamilyMart add useful comforts. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and convenience. Think well-equipped city base, not a resort in the usual sense.

The main compromises are genuinely small rooms—standard doubles measure just 11 square meters—and recurring elevator waits at busy times, acknowledged by management. We’d skip it if you travel with bulky luggage or want somewhere spacious to unwind. The outdoor pool has closed for the 2026 season. Upcoming disruptions include a scheduled power outage on November 4 and unavailable room TVs and internet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 9.

• Best for: Solo sightseers traveling light; Budget-conscious couples; Business travelers using the subway

• Watch out for: Very small standard rooms; Peak-time elevator waits; Seasonal pool closure and November maintenance

• Location: Direct connection to Hommachi Station’s Exit 18; a convenient base for subway sightseeing.

• Rooms: Standard doubles are 11 square meters; standard twins are 14, so choose carefully for two people.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, with Expedia guests rating cleanliness particularly highly.

• Service: Generally helpful and polite staff; the busy lobby and elevator queues can slow things down.

• Amenities: Public baths, buffet dining, FamilyMart and coin laundry; outdoor swimming is seasonal and costs extra.

• Fees and surprises: Paid parking and 10 a.m. checkout; power outage November 4, 2026, 12:30–2 p.m.; TV/internet interruption November 9, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
