Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong family pick where included activities matter more than luxury polish. a playful, all-inclusive 4-star family hotel near Tennoji Station, scored for what it is.

Anda no Mori is a playful, all-inclusive 4-star hotel three minutes from Tennoji Station, and we'd choose it for family fun rather than conventional luxury. Formerly Bali Tower, it relaunched in April 2025 with expanded activities. Recent Expedia and Yahoo Travel guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and generous extras: karaoke, arcade games, children's play spaces and drinks, including alcohol. It's particularly good value if you'll actually spend time enjoying the hotel.

Choose your room carefully: entry categories are just 14–16 square meters, so luggage space can be tight despite the extensive amenities. Check meal inclusions rather than assuming every buffet comes with every booking. Some recent guests also found popular late-night dishes gone early; the hotel confirms certain items aren't replenished. We'd skip it for a quiet, grown-up retreat, but families have plenty of reasons to stay.

  • Best for: families with young children; multigenerational trips; travelers who enjoy hotel activities

  • Watch out for: compact entry-level rooms; meal inclusions vary by plan; some late-night dishes run out

  • Location: Three minutes on foot from Tennoji Station's north exit, convenient for rail connections and shopping.

  • Rooms: Entry rooms are 14–16 square meters; book a larger category if luggage space matters.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall cleanliness ratings, reinforced by recent guests praising clean rooms.

  • Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a consistent strength across recent guest reviews.

  • Amenities: Included karaoke, arcade games, children's play areas and free-flow drinks make the hotel part of the trip.

  • Fees and surprises: Confirm included meals; accommodation tax may be collected separately, and parking is off-site.
