A good-value Disney base, provided you can live with dated rooms and road noise. a budget 3-star with motel-style exterior corridors near Disney, scored for what it is.

Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista is a budget 3-star with motel-style exterior corridors, best treated as a practical theme-park base rather than a resort destination. We'd pick it for the convenient Disney-area location, useful room fridges and microwaves, and family-friendly extras: two outdoor pools, a splash pad and playground. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise friendly staff, comfortable beds and good value, with plenty reporting clean rooms.

The trade-offs are tired interiors, uneven housekeeping and I-4 traffic noise in exposed rooms. Request a room away from the highway, although requests aren't guaranteed. There is no resort fee, but parking costs extra, and breakfast isn't automatically included; check whether your booking includes the buffet or only grab-and-go. Free park shuttles run on schedules that some guests find restrictive. We'd skip it for a quiet hotel-focused vacation or consistently polished rooms.

• Best for: budget-conscious Disney visitors; families spending most days at the parks; travelers using a car or rideshares

• Watch out for: I-4 noise in highway-facing rooms; dated interiors and inconsistent housekeeping; paid parking and limited shuttle schedules

• Location: Convenient for Disney-area attractions and nearby dining; park visits still require transport.

• Rooms: Dated but practical, with microwaves and mini-fridges; two-bed rooms have doubles, not queens.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia feedback is strongly positive, but Tripadvisor and Hotels.com guests describe uneven housekeeping.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength across recent guest reviews.

• Amenities: Two outdoor pools, splash pad, playground, arcade, dining and scheduled free park shuttles.

• Fees and surprises: No resort fee; parking and dogs cost extra, breakfast depends on the booking, and Expedia lists a refundable deposit.
