Axel's take: 7.5/10

Good value near Disney, but choose your room type carefully. A budget 3-star Disney-area hotel with motel-style rooms and a separate tower, scored for what it is.

Ramada Kissimmee Gateway is a budget 3-star hotel combining motel-style accommodation with a separate tower. We'd consider it for a park-heavy trip: Disney is nearby, parking is free, and two pools, mini-golf and on-site dining give families useful extras. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable beds and value. The larger, interior-corridor tower rooms are our preferred option, supported by several favorable guest reports.

The catch is uneven room condition. Across both sites, guests describe dated furnishings, worn carpets and occasional persistent musty smells, particularly in the older blocks; housekeeping feedback also varies. These complaints aren't the whole picture, but they make room selection important. Factor in a nightly resort fee, a security deposit and breakfast unless included in your booking. Check shuttle schedules before relying on them for park opening. We'd skip it if fresh interiors and consistently polished rooms matter most.

Best for: Budget-conscious Disney visitors; Families spending most days at the parks; Travelers with a car
Watch out for: Uneven condition between room types; Worn carpets and musty-room reports; Resort fee and limited shuttle schedules
Location: Convenient for Disney, nearby restaurants and Walmart; reaching the parks still requires transport.
Rooms: Tower rooms are larger with interior corridors; older motel-style rooms draw more condition complaints.
Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but housekeeping, carpet condition and odors are inconsistent.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength in recent reviews.
Amenities: Two outdoor pools, mini-golf, a gym, dining and scheduled theme-park shuttles.
Fees and surprises: Nightly resort fee and security deposit; breakfast is not included with every booking; parking is free.
