#3 of 9 hotels in Old Town & Highway 192 by Axel's take. Old Town & Highway 192 is #8 of 12 places to stay in Orlando. The best hotels in Old Town & Highway 192, ranked · Where to stay in Orlando

Axel's take: 8.4/10

A strong family-value pick, provided you prioritize playtime over peace and quiet. A budget-friendly, motel-style 3-star built around family fun, scored for what it is.

Magic Moment is a motel-style 3-star in Kissimmee whose biggest strength is keeping children entertained between park visits. We'd shortlist it for families with younger kids: the playground, heated outdoor pool and organized activities offer more than a basic budget hotel. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Agoda guests repeatedly praise friendly staff and generally clean rooms. Included breakfast, parking and theme-park shuttles strengthen the practical appeal.

The trade-off is that the family fun comes with noise: guests mention sound carrying into rooms and loud courtyard music. Breakfast earns plenty of praise but can feel repetitive over longer stays, and the rooms are simpler than the resort name suggests. A mandatory nightly resort fee also needs checking in your booking total. With no elevators, request ground-floor accommodation if stairs are a problem. We'd skip it for a quiet couples' escape.

Best for: Families with younger children; Budget-conscious Disney visitors; Families planning pool and playground time
Watch out for: Courtyard music and noise reaching rooms; Mandatory nightly resort fee; No elevators
Location: On Kissimmee's US-192 strip, with nearby restaurants and practical access to Disney by car or shuttle.
Rooms: Simple, exterior-corridor rooms; themed options available, but sound insulation draws complaints.
Cleanliness: Recent reviews generally praise clean rooms, with occasional housekeeping lapses.
Service: Friendly staff are a consistent strength, especially the breakfast team.
Amenities: Heated outdoor pool, extensive children's play areas, gym, included breakfast and theme-park shuttles.
Fees and surprises: Mandatory nightly resort fee; parking is included, and upper-floor rooms require stairs.
