Axel's take: 7.2/10

A practical airport stopover, with dated rooms and shuttle hours worth checking. a no-frills 3-star airport hotel, scored for what it is.

This no-frills 3-star near Orlando International Airport is a reasonable pick for a short stopover, not a hotel to build a vacation around. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms, breakfast and restaurants within walking distance. Free breakfast and airport transfers make it useful for budget-conscious flyers, while the outdoor pool adds something beyond the basics.

The rooms show their age: Trip.com and Tripadvisor guests mention musty smells and uneven upkeep, although recent Expedia feedback is more positive. Parking costs extra, and Wyndham’s hourly shuttle operates only 5 a.m.–noon and 2–10 p.m., with arrival pickups requested after baggage collection. An October 2026 Expedia guest reported the hot tub and an elevator out of service; confirm repairs if either matters. We'd skip it for a longer leisure stay or flights outside shuttle hours.

• Best for: budget-conscious airport stopovers; short pre-cruise stays

• Watch out for: limited, hourly airport shuttle; dated rooms and occasional musty smells; parking charges and reported facility outages

• Location: About three miles from MCO, with several restaurants within walking distance.

• Rooms: Fridges and microwaves are included; guests report dated furnishings and variable bed comfort.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia feedback is largely positive; Trip.com and Tripadvisor show some housekeeping and odor complaints.

• Service: Helpful staff earn frequent praise, though Tripadvisor feedback is less consistent.

• Amenities: Free breakfast, Wi-Fi, outdoor pool and gym; an October guest reported the hot tub and an elevator unavailable.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and pets incur charges; shuttle pickups are requested after collecting baggage, with a midday service gap.
