Axel's take: 8.9/10

An excellent airport overnight, with room location making the difference for light sleepers. a full-service 4-star inside Orlando airport’s main terminal, scored for what it is.

This full-service 4-star sits inside MCO between Terminals A and B, making it a strong pick for late arrivals and early departures without a hotel shuttle. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. The heated outdoor pool and McCoy’s restaurant make an overnight stop more comfortable than the location alone would suggest.

You pay for that convenience, rather than a resort experience. The main caution is room position: several Tripadvisor guests report terminal announcements disturbing atrium-facing rooms, and management recommends requesting an outside-facing room for quieter sleep. Breakfast and parking generally cost extra, and Terminal C requires an additional transfer. We'd choose it for a flight-focused overnight or pre-cruise stop, but skip it as a theme-park vacation base.

• Best for: late arrivals and early departures; families before a cruise; travelers avoiding airport shuttles

• Watch out for: terminal announcements in atrium-facing rooms; breakfast and parking cost extra; additional transfer for Terminal C

• Location: Inside the main terminal between A and B; especially convenient after returning a rental car.

• Rooms: Comfortable, generously sized rooms; request outside-facing accommodation if noise-sensitive.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Expedia, Booking.com and recent Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Helpful, courteous staff attract repeated praise, despite occasional check-in complaints.

• Amenities: Heated outdoor pool, fitness center, free Wi-Fi and McCoy’s; not a full resort.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and parking generally incur charges; late checkout can also cost extra.
