Axel's take: 7.8/10

Choose it for Disney Springs and the lazy river, not polished rooms. a large 4-star family and convention resort beside Disney Springs, scored for what it is.

This large 4-star family and convention resort makes its strongest case outside the room: walkable access to Disney Springs, a popular lazy river and useful Disney park benefits. We'd pick it for a family trip that mixes park days with pool time. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness and friendly staff, while Tripadvisor guests also highlight the location and pool complex. Hilton confirms theme-park shuttles and early-entry benefits.

The compromise is room condition. Dated decor and bathrooms recur in reviews across Expedia and Tripadvisor, and some guests report noise or uneven housekeeping and service. The mandatory daily resort charge, separate parking charges and expensive on-site food also weaken value. It's a good practical base, but we'd skip it if you want consistently fresh interiors, quiet surroundings or a stay without substantial extras.

• Best for: families mixing park and pool days; Disney Springs dining and shopping; travelers prioritizing location over room polish

• Watch out for: dated rooms and bathrooms; daily resort charge and paid parking; busy atmosphere and occasional noise

• Location: Walkable to Disney Springs via the pedestrian bridge; park shuttles require some planning.

• Rooms: Comfortable for many guests, but dated decor and bathrooms are recurring complaints.

• Cleanliness: Recent Expedia feedback is strongly positive, with some housekeeping lapses reported on Tripadvisor.

• Service: Friendly staff earn frequent praise, though responsiveness is not uniformly consistent.

• Amenities: Lazy river, pools, splash pad, fitness center and several dining options are the main strengths.

• Fees and surprises: Mandatory daily resort charge, separate parking charges and breakfast generally extra.
