Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong luxury family escape, with excellent facilities but some service friction. a five-star lagoon resort near Disney, scored for what it is.

Conrad Orlando is a five-star resort within Evermore, and we'd choose it for a holiday with proper resort days—not just somewhere to sleep between parks. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise spacious modern rooms, high cleanliness standards and welcoming staff. The man-made lagoon, sandy beaches and Conrad's own pool are the main draw, backed by a spa, golf and Disney transportation.

The luxury experience isn't entirely seamless: Tripadvisor reviews repeatedly flag dining and valet delays, although recent Expedia feedback remains overwhelmingly positive. Resort fees and paid valet parking also deserve attention. More immediately, Hilton flags lobby enhancements, while Expedia lists work affecting the lobby, bar/lounge and one dining venue through November 20, 2026. We'd skip it during that work if an undisturbed luxury setting matters most, or if you'll barely use the resort.

• Best for: families mixing Disney with resort days; couples wanting a beach-style Orlando break; golf and spa travelers

• Watch out for: lobby, bar and dining work scheduled through November 20, 2026; resort fee and paid valet parking; occasional dining and valet delays

• Location: Within Evermore near Disney, with dedicated theme-park transportation; best treated as a resort base.

• Rooms: Guests widely praise spacious, modern rooms; bedding comfort draws mixed individual reports.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and recent Expedia reviews.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn strong praise, but dining and valet execution can be uneven.

• Amenities: Shared Evermore lagoon, Conrad pool, beaches, spa, gym, kids club and nearby golf.

• Fees and surprises: Resort fee and paid valet; Expedia lists lobby, bar/lounge and dining renovations through November 20, 2026, subject to change.
