Axel's take: 6.9/10

A useful budget base, but cleaning and maintenance are too inconsistent. a no-frills 2-star hotel just off International Drive, scored for what it is.

This no-frills 2-star just off International Drive makes sense for budget travelers spending their days at the parks. Its strongest points are the walkable restaurant location, free parking and generally helpful staff. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests regularly praise the convenience and value, while the outdoor pool and included continental breakfast cover the basics. We'd consider it for a short, inexpensive stay, not a hotel-centered vacation.

The compromise is consistency. Recent reviews mix clean, comfortable stays with recurring reports of dirty floors, stained towels, aging bathrooms and noise through thin walls. Breakfast is mostly carbohydrates, with waffles rather than a substantial hot spread. A nightly resort fee also applies. September–October 2026 Expedia guests report that the advertised theme-park shuttle no longer operates, so confirm transportation directly. We'd skip it if dependable cleanliness or quiet sleep is a priority.

• Best for: budget-minded theme-park visitors; short stays with a car

• Watch out for: inconsistent cleaning and aging rooms; thin walls and hallway noise; advertised park shuttle reportedly discontinued

• Location: Walkable restaurants and I-Drive access; convenient for driving to Universal, not an on-site park hotel.

• Rooms: Useful space and often-comfortable beds, but recurring maintenance complaints and weak soundproofing.

• Cleanliness: Many guests find rooms clean, but dirty floors, bathrooms and stained linens recur across sites.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength; Wyndham says housekeeping is available upon request.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, basic continental breakfast, Wi-Fi and free parking; confirm shuttle availability before relying on it.

• Fees and surprises: Nightly resort fee; Expedia also lists a minimum check-in age of 21 and excludes residents within 40 miles.
