Hotels in Oklahoma CityA basic roadside budget motel beside I-35
4.7/10
Convenient highway access cannot make up for recurring cleanliness and maintenance problems.
This is a basic roadside budget motel, not the comfortable mid-range hotel its listed three stars might suggest. Free parking, Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool give it useful basics. Some 2026 Expedia guests praise clean rooms and the pool, but its overall guest rating remains weak. We'd treat it as a last-resort stop rather than a dependable budget pick.
The problems go beyond dated decor. Recent Expedia reviews and Booking.com reviews reproduced by Planet of Hotels repeatedly describe dirty rooms, damaged fittings and room changes; cockroach reports also appear on OYO's own page. Staff sometimes earn praise, but check-in and problem handling are inconsistent. We'd skip it for families, longer stays or anyone who needs reliable cleanliness and a reassuring environment.

Best for: Drivers prioritizing I-35 access; Budget travelers willing to inspect rooms first
Watch out for: Recurring dirty-room and cockroach reports; Damaged fittings and unreliable room readiness; Guest concerns about the surroundings
Location: Handy for I-35, but several recent guests describe uncomfortable surroundings.
Rooms: Basic and inconsistently maintained; recent reports include faulty keys, damaged doors and missing essentials.
Cleanliness: Repeated recent complaints across sources outweigh isolated praise for clean rooms.
Service: Some helpful front-desk encounters, alongside waits and repeated room changes.
Amenities: Outdoor pool, free parking, free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities; no elevator.
Fees and surprises: OYO lists a security deposit and dog fees; confirm arrival arrangements because published check-in policies differ.
