Axel's take: 9.1/10

A standout highway stop for clean rooms, friendly service and a genuinely good breakfast. a limited-service 3-star off I-35 in suburban Moore, scored for what it is.

This limited-service 3-star off I-35 gets the essentials unusually right. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spacious, exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. Breakfast earns more enthusiasm than the usual included buffet, particularly for its variety and attentive attendants. We'd put it high on the list for a road-trip stop or a practical base between Oklahoma City and Norman; free parking and Wi-Fi strengthen the value.

The trade-offs are mostly about the setting and facilities rather than recurring failures. You'll want a car for sightseeing, and there's no on-site restaurant beyond breakfast. The outdoor pool is seasonal: IHG lists Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, so don't book expecting a swim outside summer. We'd skip it for a walkable downtown break or year-round pool access.

• Best for: I-35 road-trippers; families traveling by car; visitors splitting time between OKC and Norman

• Watch out for: Outdoor pool is summer-only; Car-oriented suburban location; No on-site restaurant beyond breakfast

• Location: Convenient I-35 access between Oklahoma City and Norman; better for drivers than a walking-based city break.

• Rooms: Guests consistently praise generous space and comfortable beds; rooms include microwaves and refrigerators.

• Cleanliness: A defining strength, with repeated recent praise across Expedia, Tripadvisor and Booking.com.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff and attentive breakfast service are recurring positives.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, guest laundry and a seasonal outdoor pool.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; Expedia lists charges for early check-in and rollaway beds. Pets are not allowed.
