Hotels in Ocean City, MarylandAn independent 3-star beachfront hotel on Ocean City's Boardwalk
8.6/10
A strong Boardwalk base with praised staff, clean rooms and some dated details.
Park Place is an independent 3-star beachfront hotel that delivers the essentials of an Ocean City vacation well. It's a strong pick for beach-and-Boardwalk convenience: restaurants and amusements are close, and recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness and helpful staff. Two outdoor pools, beach-chair service and in-room refrigerators and microwaves make it practical for families, without pretending to be a luxury resort.
The trade-offs are room-specific: some recent guests describe dated furnishings, small bathrooms or balconies, and obstructed ocean views. Noise also crops up, so confirm the room's position if quiet matters. Check charges carefully: Expedia lists administrative and seasonal resort fees plus paid parking, despite the hotel's homepage advertising free parking. Pool-season information also conflicts across the hotel's own pages. We'd skip it for polished interiors or guaranteed off-season swimming.
