9.1/10
Excellent family-friendly comfort near Playmobil, but not a base for walking around Nuremberg.
Bomonti is a family-run 4-star in Oberasbach that delivers unusually consistent comfort and hospitality. We'd put it high on the list for a Playmobil FunPark trip: recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, clean modern rooms and varied breakfast. Booking.com’s strong cleanliness and service ratings reinforce that picture. Air-conditioning, comfortable beds and family or connecting-room options make it a practical choice rather than a luxury retreat.
The main compromise is geography. The park is roughly a 15–20-minute walk away, but central Nuremberg requires transport, and the hotel puts the S-Bahn station about two kilometres away. Check breakfast inclusion: the official site includes it in advertised room prices, while Expedia lists it separately. We'd skip it for a car-free city break focused on the old town.

Best for: families visiting Playmobil FunPark; travelers exploring the region by car; business travelers wanting a quieter base
Watch out for: suburban location away from Nuremberg’s old town; breakfast inclusion varies between listings; check-in listed only until 10:30 p.m.
Location: Walkable to Playmobil FunPark; central Nuremberg and the S-Bahn require more planning.
Rooms: Modern, air-conditioned rooms with box-spring beds; family and connecting options available.
Cleanliness: A clear strength, supported by high ratings and repeated recent guest praise.
Service: Consistently praised for friendly, attentive help, especially with families.
Amenities: Breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi, bar, terrace and EV charging; comfort rather than resort facilities.
Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusion and garage charges; free self-parking is advertised, but a Booking.com guest reports paid garage parking.
