Axel's take: 7.7/10
A good family base with strong pool amenities, but rooms need more polish. A mid-range, family-focused resort hotel beside Settlers Green outlets, scored for what it is.
North Conway Grand is a mid-range family resort, not the luxury hotel its name might suggest. We'd pick it for outlet shopping and keeping children entertained: heated indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a playground and movie room give it more staying power than a basic overnight stop. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the convenient location, and many recent reviews describe comfortable beds, clean rooms and friendly staff.
The trade-off is uneven room upkeep. Dated decor, noisy heating and air-conditioning units, and occasional housekeeping lapses recur alongside the positive reports. Family bustle also makes this a weaker choice for a quiet couples' escape. Breakfast costs extra, and a mandatory nightly resort fee dulls the value. We'd choose it for the pools and convenience, rather than polished rooms or guaranteed peace.
