Axel's take: 7.5/10

Come for the beach and easy all-inclusive days, not polished luxury. a lively 4-star, adults-only beachfront all-inclusive, scored for what it is.

This adults-only, 4-star all-inclusive is a beachfront high-rise rather than a sprawling resort. We'd pick it for Cabbage Beach, a sociable atmosphere and the convenience of meals and drinks included. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise the beach, cleanliness and helpful staff; Booking.com’s overall ratings also put location and staff ahead of facilities. Two pools, a swim-up bar and evening entertainment round out an easy beach holiday.

The Palace name sets expectations the property doesn't consistently meet. Tripadvisor reviews through summer 2026 repeatedly describe aging rooms, uneven service and frustrating specialty-restaurant reservations, while food opinions vary considerably. A June guest also reported overlooking neighboring construction; its current status is unconfirmed, so check your room outlook. We'd skip it for a quiet honeymoon, freshly updated interiors or reliably polished dining.

• Best for: beach-first couples; friends wanting a sociable all-inclusive; adults prioritizing convenience over luxury

• Watch out for: aging rooms and uneven service; limited specialty-dining availability; lively atmosphere rather than guaranteed quiet

• Location: Directly on Cabbage Beach, beside the Atlantis complex; the beachfront is its strongest selling point.

• Rooms: Sea-view categories appeal, but repeated recent reviews describe tired furnishings and maintenance shortcomings.

• Cleanliness: Generally a strength across Expedia and Booking.com, despite some individual complaints.

• Service: Strong aggregate staff ratings, but Tripadvisor repeatedly flags inconsistent bar, reception and problem handling.

• Amenities: Two outdoor pools, swim-up bar, buffet and themed dining, gym, spa and entertainment.

• Fees and surprises: All-inclusive does not guarantee specialty-dining availability; a June 2026 guest reported neighboring construction, with current status unverified.
