#9 of 9 hotels in Piazza Municipio & Port by Axel's take. Piazza Municipio & Port is #3 of 7 places to stay in Naples. The best hotels in Piazza Municipio & Port, ranked · Where to stay in Naples

Axel's take: 7.3/10

A practical port-side budget base, with noise and awkward access to weigh. A no-frills budget hotel on upper floors near Naples’ ferry port, scored for what it is.

Bella Capri is a simple budget hotel, also sold as Mia Suites Hotel Bella Capri, whose strongest asset is its location near Molo Beverello and Municipio metro. We'd consider it for a short city break or an early ferry: Booking.com and Expedia guests regularly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and convenient transport. Some rooms have sea views, but check your booked category rather than expecting one automatically.

The trade-offs are noise and access rather than missing luxury. Recent guests describe traffic disturbance, small rooms and lifts that require coins at certain hours. Cleanliness earns more praise than criticism, though bathroom complaints still appear. Confirm arrival instructions, breakfast arrangements and the damage deposit before traveling. We'd skip it if quiet sleep or straightforward, step-free access is essential.

Best for: Budget travelers catching island ferries; Short sightseeing stays; Travelers prioritizing transport connections
Watch out for: Traffic and building noise; Coin-operated lifts at certain hours; Confirm breakfast and arrival arrangements
Location: Near Molo Beverello, Municipio metro and central sights; convenience is its clearest strength.
Rooms: Simple, sometimes compact rooms; newer-looking options and sea-view categories are available.
Cleanliness: Generally positive recent feedback, with some bathroom-cleaning complaints rather than uniformly reliable results.
Service: Helpful staff receive repeated praise, but reception has limited hours and access instructions matter.
Amenities: The official site confirms private bathrooms, air conditioning, TVs and free internet; verify breakfast inclusions.
Fees and surprises: Expedia lists city tax, a damage deposit and some arrival-related charges; guests repeatedly report timed lift charges.
