Axel's take: 6.8/10

Convenient for Khar, but uneven rooms and noise limit its appeal. a basic 3-star city hotel in Khar West, scored for what it is.

Ramee Guestline Khar is a basic 3-star city hotel whose strongest asset is its location near Linking Road and Khar Road station. We'd consider it for a short stay focused on Khar or Bandra rather than the hotel itself. Recent Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and good room-service food, with several reporting clean, comfortable rooms.

The catch is consistency. Tripadvisor and Expedia accounts also describe tired interiors and bathrooms needing better cleaning, while Booking.com's overall feedback is only middling. Road noise and reports of late-night music make it a questionable choice for light sleepers. We'd request a quieter room and check its condition before unpacking. Skip it if dependable housekeeping, fresh interiors or a restful hotel experience matter more than being in this neighbourhood.

• Best for: short stays around Khar and Bandra; business travelers with nearby appointments

• Watch out for: road noise and reported late-night music; uneven bathroom cleanliness; tired interiors and variable upkeep

• Location: Convenient for Linking Road shopping and Khar Road station; useful for visits around Bandra.

• Rooms: Basic air-conditioned rooms; condition varies, with recurring criticism of dated interiors.

• Cleanliness: Mixed: recent guests report both well-kept rooms and bathrooms requiring a room change.

• Service: Many recent guests praise helpful staff, though delays and inconsistent follow-through also appear.

• Amenities: Room service, breakfast and Wi-Fi are listed; Expedia also lists a nightclub.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion depends on the booking; early check-in and late checkout can cost extra.
