Strong beachfront hospitality and dining, but renovations compromise the full luxury experience. a five-star beachfront hotel in Juhu with resort-style grounds, scored for what it is.

JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu is a five-star beachfront hotel whose strongest assets are its sea-facing setting, restaurants and hospitality. We'd pick it for a Juhu stay built around good food and time by the pool. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the breakfast spread, attentive staff and clean, comfortable rooms; the executive lounge also earns strong endorsements. The overall feedback remains very positive, although some guests find the room décor below current luxury expectations.

The main reservation is renovation disruption, reported across several sites in 2026. An October Expedia guest describes a cramped temporary gym, while Expedia and Hotels.com currently list the children's pool, sauna and hot tub as closed, despite Marriott advertising a whirlpool. Confirm facilities and construction noise directly before booking. We'd skip it for a quiet, fully functioning luxury retreat right now, particularly if children's swimming facilities or a proper gym are essential.

• Best for: food-focused Juhu stays; travelers prioritizing beachfront grounds; guests booking executive-lounge access

• Watch out for: renovation disruption and temporary gym; listed children's pool, sauna and hot tub closures; some rooms feel dated for the class

• Location: Direct access to Juhu Beach, with Prithvi Theatre within walking distance.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable; some guests find the furniture and finishes dated for a JW Marriott.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent reviews, with strong aggregate cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Warm, attentive staff draw repeated praise, though occasional check-in and service lapses recur.

• Amenities: Outdoor pools, restaurants and spa; verify renovation impacts, temporary gym and listed facility closures.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and valet are complimentary; breakfast and lounge access depend on the booking, and airport transfers cost extra.
