Axel's take: 6.7/10

A convenient Juhu base, but room standards are too uneven for an easy recommendation. a simple 3-star on Juhu Tara Road, scored for what it is.

Hotel Mumbai House Juhu is a simple 3-star whose strongest argument is its location near Juhu Beach. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay rather than a hotel-focused holiday. Tripadvisor guests frequently praise helpful staff and spacious rooms, and the hotel offers a restaurant, room service and free Wi-Fi. Premium rooms and suites attract some particularly positive feedback.

The catch is consistency. Booking.com and Expedia ratings are substantially weaker than Tripadvisor's, while recent guest accounts describe uneven cleaning, tired beds, unpleasant smells and bathroom maintenance problems alongside genuinely comfortable stays. Traffic and aircraft noise also feature in reviews. We'd skip it if dependable housekeeping or quiet sleep is essential; otherwise, confirm the room category, request an outside window and check breakfast and parking arrangements before arrival.

• Best for: short stays around Juhu; travelers prioritizing location over polish

• Watch out for: uneven cleanliness and maintenance; traffic and aircraft noise; some rooms lack outside windows

• Location: Juhu Tara Road near the beach; location is a stronger point than comfort on Booking.com.

• Rooms: Premium rooms and suites earn praise, but other guests report tired beds, bathroom issues and windowless rooms.

• Cleanliness: Reports are sharply mixed, with cleaning and odor complaints continuing into 2026.

• Service: Helpful staff receive frequent praise, though booking disputes and inconsistent problem handling also appear.

• Amenities: The hotel advertises Culture Restaurant, room service, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a large banquet hall.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; the hotel advertises free parking, but Expedia lists no parking, so confirm directly.
