Axel's take: 8.3/10

Excellent hospitality and refreshed rooms, but renovations still compromise the full luxury experience. a modern 5-star luxury tower in Worli, scored for what it is.

Four Seasons Mumbai is a modern 5-star luxury tower in Worli, strongest on personal service, comfortable rooms and dining. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise thoughtful staff, thorough housekeeping and generous breakfasts; Booking.com also scores cleanliness and comfort particularly highly. Refurbished rooms give it fresh appeal, while AER’s rooftop views are a genuine draw. It’s a strong pick for business travelers and couples who prioritize hospitality over resort-style grounds.

The substantial catch is ongoing renovation. The outdoor pool remains closed, the Pool Deck lists November 30, 2026 for reopening, and San:Qi’s own page now lists November 1, 2026. Expedia flags work affecting the lobby, exterior and dining through December 31, 2026, subject to change. We'd skip it for a pool-centered family break or an occasion demanding every facility; otherwise, confirm the work schedule and request a renovated room.

• Best for: business travelers in Worli and Lower Parel; couples who prioritize attentive service; rooftop-bar and dining enthusiasts

• Watch out for: outdoor pool temporarily closed; renovation affecting public areas; restaurant reopening dates can shift

• Location: Useful Worli base near Palladium and Lower Parel; immediate surroundings earn more mixed feedback.

• Rooms: Refurbished rooms draw strong praise for comfort and design; confirm the exact category and renovation status.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com ratings and recent Expedia guest reviews.

• Service: Warm, personalized attention is the clearest recurring highlight, despite occasional check-in lapses.

• Amenities: AER, Opus, spa and fitness centre are draws; outdoor pool and San:Qi remain listed as closed.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra depending on the booking; valet parking and Wi-Fi are listed as complimentary.
