Axel's take: 8.5/10

A dependable airport-area base, strongest on hospitality, breakfast and comfortable rooms. An upscale airport-area business hotel in Andheri East, scored for what it is.

This is an upscale business hotel rather than a destination luxury stay, and it's a strong pick for airport stopovers or work in Andheri. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff and the generous breakfast buffet. Booking.com's overall feedback is similarly positive. An outdoor pool, gym, spa and several dining options make it practical for more than a quick overnight.

The trade-off is location: airport access is convenient, but traffic outside can slow even short journeys, and sightseeing across Mumbai takes planning. Some recent guests report slow room service or check-in delays, though praise for staff is much more widespread. Airport transfers cost extra, and breakfast isn't automatically included. We'd skip it for a sightseeing-first holiday or if polished luxury matters more than business convenience.

• Best for: Airport stopovers; Business travelers in Andheri; Travelers who prioritize breakfast and service

• Watch out for: Traffic outside and lengthy sightseeing journeys; Occasional check-in and room-service delays; Airport transfers and breakfast may cost extra

• Location: Andheri East, near Chakala Metro; Marriott places the airport 3.9 km away, not within the terminal.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable; some guests flag dated finishes or maintenance inconsistencies.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across major sites, with occasional lapses rather than a dominant complaint.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff are a recurring strength; response times can slip when busy.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, gym, spa, restaurants and an executive lounge for eligible bookings.

• Fees and surprises: Airport shuttle is chargeable; check breakfast inclusion. Marriott lists complimentary parking for guest-driven vehicles.
