A convenient airport stop, but renovations make room choice important. a practical 3-star airport hotel with roomy sofa-bed layouts, scored for what it is.

This practical 3-star airport hotel is a strong pick for an overnight before flying, especially if you secure a renovated room. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious layouts, clean rooms, friendly staff and quick shuttle trips. Free breakfast and parking strengthen the value, while the indoor pool gives families something useful beyond a bed.

The catch is an uneven refresh: management confirms newer fourth-floor rooms alongside worn older ones, with some recent guests reporting musty smells. Expedia lists October 5–December 31, 2026 renovations affecting the lobby, front desk, bar, dining areas and parking; management suggests remaining room work could extend into early 2027. We'd request a refreshed room and confirm disruption before booking. Skip it for a polished, construction-free stay; departures before 6 a.m. also miss breakfast.

• Best for: overnight airport stays; families needing sofa-bed space; travelers prioritizing practical value

• Watch out for: active renovations affecting public areas and parking; older rooms can feel worn or smell musty; breakfast starts at 6 a.m.

• Location: Minutes from MKE by complimentary shuttle; better for airport convenience than downtown sightseeing.

• Rooms: Spacious sofa-bed layouts; request a renovated room, with refreshed fourth-floor rooms confirmed by management.

• Cleanliness: Positive overall across guest reviews, tempered by some recent musty-room and bathroom-cleaning complaints.

• Service: Friendly staff and efficient shuttles draw frequent praise; management's public complaint responses can be defensive.

• Amenities: Indoor pool, 24-hour gym and free breakfast; listed renovations affect dining and bar areas.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is complimentary; dogs incur fees, and incidental card holds apply. Renovations may constrain parking.
