Axel's take: 4.3/10
Convenient basics don't outweigh recurring cleanliness and maintenance problems. An older budget motel on Midland’s west side, scored for what it is.
This is an older budget motel, not the dependable mid-range hotel its three-star listing might suggest. Free parking, breakfast and pet-friendly rooms cover the basics, and the airport is about seven miles away. Some recent Expedia guests praise comfortable beds, clean rooms and helpful staff. But Booking.com’s poor overall rating and repeated complaints across Expedia and Tripadvisor make it difficult to recommend even for a simple overnight stop.
The concern is more than dated decor: guests repeatedly describe dirty bathrooms, stained bedding and broken fixtures, with further cleanliness complaints in September 2026. The outdoor pool is currently seasonally closed; summer 2026 guests also reported it unavailable, including for renovations. Breakfast is basic, and service varies considerably. We'd skip it for families, longer stays or anyone expecting reliably clean accommodation; its practical conveniences don't compensate for the risk of a poorly maintained room.
