A strong Brickell base with roomy balconies, but check pool access and extras. an upscale 4-star city hotel in Brickell, scored for what it is.

Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami is an upscale 4-star city hotel that gets the essentials largely right: spacious balcony rooms, a walkable Brickell location and generally welcoming service. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, helpful staff and access to restaurants and shopping. We'd pick it for a business trip or city weekend, especially if a private balcony matters more than beachfront access. The Cuban restaurant, Caña, also earns consistent praise.

The trade-offs are room wear and added charges. Flooring complaints recur across sites, although recent feedback remains predominantly positive. There's a daily destination fee, valet parking costs extra, and some guests report confusing card holds. The rooftop pool underwent renovations and closures during 2026; Hyatt now advertises it as open, but confirm access before booking a pool-focused stay. We'd skip it for a beach holiday or an experience without extra fees.

• Best for: business travelers in Brickell; couples on a city weekend; travelers who want a private balcony

• Watch out for: daily destination fee and paid valet parking; recurring reports of worn flooring; confirm rooftop pool availability

• Location: Walkable to Brickell restaurants, shopping and Metromover stops; not a beachfront location.

• Rooms: Spacious balcony rooms are a strength, but flooring wear appears in multiple guest reports.

• Cleanliness: Predominantly positive recent feedback, despite occasional housekeeping lapses.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff draw repeated praise; billing and card-hold communication can disappoint.

• Amenities: Caña restaurant, a 24-hour gym and an advertised rooftop pool; confirm pool access after 2026 closures.

• Fees and surprises: Daily destination fee, paid valet parking and incidental card holds warrant checking before arrival.
