Axel's take: 8.2/10

A strong Graceland base, with welcoming staff and useful extras rather than frills. a limited-service budget hotel near Graceland and Memphis airport, scored for what it is.

This limited-service budget hotel is a strong pick for a Graceland visit or a short airport stop. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, hot breakfast and generally clean, comfortable rooms. Free parking, in-room microwaves and refrigerators, and the Graceland shuttle make it practical for families and road-trippers. We'd choose it for those conveniences rather than a downtown Memphis experience.

The main compromises are housekeeping consistency and transport details. Several recent Tripadvisor guests say rooms weren't serviced daily, so ask about the schedule at check-in. Airport-shuttle information conflicts even within IHG's website; confirm availability and hours directly before relying on it. Expedia lists the outdoor pool as seasonal, May through September. We'd skip it if you want walk-out access to Beale Street nightlife or full-service hotel facilities.

• Best for: Graceland visitors; families on a budget; road-trippers with a car

• Watch out for: Confirm airport-shuttle availability; Housekeeping may not be daily; Outdoor pool is seasonal

• Location: Convenient for Graceland and the airport; downtown sightseeing requires transport.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable, practical rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges.

• Cleanliness: Mostly positive feedback, but daily room servicing is not consistent.

• Service: Friendly staff and attentive breakfast hosts are recurring strengths across review sites.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, a 24-hour gym and seasonal outdoor pool; no restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and parking are included; conflicting airport-shuttle information needs direct confirmation.
