We'd pick it for a casual Keys trip: Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff, while the pool, loaner bikes, kayaks and paddleboards give it more appeal than a basic roadside motel. Canal-view rooms add outdoor seating by the water; kitchen suites suit longer stays.
The trade-offs are uneven sound insulation, highway noise in some rooms and resident roosters. Some guests also describe aging facilities and tight parking when busy.
