#5 of 7 hotels in Nicholasville Road & Fayette Mall by Axel's take. Nicholasville Road & Fayette Mall is #3 of 6 places to stay in Lexington, Kentucky. The best hotels in Nicholasville Road & Fayette Mall, ranked · Where to stay in Lexington, Kentucky

Axel's take: 8.4/10

A strong choice for spacious suites and helpful staff, with some maintenance niggles. A practical 3-star extended-stay hotel near UK and its medical center, scored for what it is.

This 3-star extended-stay hotel is a strong pick for University of Kentucky visits, medical appointments and longer family stays. Suites offer kitchenettes and room to spread out, while included breakfast makes mornings easier. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff; Booking.com also scores cleanliness and comfort well. The location puts UK Healthcare and campus within roughly two miles, rather than on your doorstep.

The compromises are mostly practical: some recent guests report late-night corridor noise, breakfast opinions vary, and several mention maintenance shortcomings, including broken gym equipment. These do not outweigh the broadly positive feedback, but we'd skip it if dependable workout facilities or guaranteed quiet are priorities. Confirm parking before booking: Hilton advertises it as complimentary, while Expedia and Trip.com list a daily charge.

  • Best for: UK campus and medical-center visitors; Families wanting kitchenettes and extra space; Longer stays with a car

  • Watch out for: Occasional late-night corridor noise; Reports of broken gym equipment; Conflicting parking-fee information

  • Location: About three miles from downtown; UK, UK Healthcare and Kroger Field are within roughly two miles.

  • Rooms: Spacious suites with kitchenettes and sitting areas; bedding comfort draws some mixed feedback.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall ratings, reinforced by repeated praise in recent guest reviews.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength, although problem handling is not uniformly praised.

  • Amenities: Included breakfast, Wi-Fi, indoor pool, gym and guest laundry; breakfast and equipment upkeep receive mixed feedback.

  • Fees and surprises: Pets incur a nonrefundable fee; confirm parking charges because Hilton and booking sites disagree.
