Axel's take: 8.3/10

A dependable off-Strip base, especially for Sphere visits rather than resort-style Vegas. a simple 3-star, non-casino hotel off the Strip, scored for what it is.

This simple 3-star, non-casino hotel is a strong pick for a practical Vegas stay. Marriott now describes it as fully renovated, and recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests broadly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. Included hot breakfast adds useful value, while in-room refrigerators and microwaves make the setup convenient. Sphere is roughly a 10–15-minute walk away, a particular strength for concertgoers.

The trade-off is location: this is not the Strip, and the convention center is around a 20-minute walk rather than next door. The outdoor pool is modest, parking costs extra, and Marriott lists housekeeping every other day. Pet policies conflict even within Marriott’s website, so confirm directly before bringing an animal. We'd skip it for a pool-centered vacation or if casino-floor convenience matters more than straightforward comfort.

• Best for: Sphere concertgoers; value-minded travelers avoiding casino hotels; convention visitors comfortable walking

• Watch out for: paid parking; every-other-day housekeeping; conflicting pet policies

• Location: Off-Strip; roughly 10–15 minutes on foot to Sphere and 20 minutes to the convention center.

• Rooms: Marriott advertises completed renovations; refrigerators and microwaves add practical convenience.

• Cleanliness: Recent feedback is predominantly positive, with occasional housekeeping follow-through complaints.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength across Expedia and Tripadvisor.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, a modest outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center; no airport shuttle.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is charged separately; confirm pet acceptance and conditions directly because published policies disagree.
