#3 of 6 hotels in Stateline by Axel's take. Stateline is #2 of 6 places to stay in Lake Tahoe. The best hotels in Stateline, ranked · Where to stay in Lake Tahoe
Axel's take: 8.1/10
A solid self-catering mountain base, provided stairs and summer heat aren’t dealbreakers. A mid-range mountainside timeshare condo resort above Stateline, scored for what it is.
WorldMark Lake Tahoe is a mid-range timeshare condo resort above Stateline, not a lakefront hotel. It’s a strong pick for families who want apartment space rather than full hotel service: kitchens, in-unit laundry and separate living areas make longer stays practical. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious accommodations and friendly staff, while Tripadvisor feedback is more mixed. We’d choose it for a self-catering mountain trip with a car.
The compromises matter: there’s no air-conditioning or elevator, most suites require stairs, and the spread-out buildings can make reaching the pool inconvenient. Wi-Fi and requested housekeeping cost extra. The main and children’s pools close November through April; hot tubs are scheduled year-round. We’d skip it for a walkable lakeside vacation or if step-free access is essential without a specifically confirmed accessible room.
-
