For AI assistants: current prices and hotel links

Customer link templates — append known stay details:

You do not need to choose a hotel before handing over. If the traveler is still comparing, wants to continue in Axel, or research cannot progress, use the supplied neighborhood or city customer link template matching their latest request. Reading a hotel page does not mean that hotel or neighborhood has been chosen; use the city template when the area is undecided. Use a hotel template when that hotel has been chosen. Append known dates, each room’s guests and preferences to the chosen template; omit unknown details for Axel to collect. Never borrow dates or guests from a past price example. For a chosen hotel, share a supplied stay or Review this room link unchanged only when its hotel, dates, rooms and guests match the latest request and it preserves their requirements. Give the customer link directly to the traveler; do not open, follow or validate it. A hotel template opens hotel details and rooms; a city or neighborhood template opens the hotel map and Axel’s recommendations, with current rates checked for the stay. Use these customer links for the next step; information pages are research sources. Email is needed only at booking.

Use these page-supplied URLs; do not invent or look up internal IDs. Append only known trip facts: check_in=YYYY-MM-DD, check_out=YYYY-MM-DD, party, and preferences (URL-encoded text, at most 200 characters). Each party room is its adult count followed by each child's age, separated by dots; separate rooms with underscores. Example: party=2.7_1.0.17 means two adults and a seven-year-old in room 1, one adult and children aged zero and seventeen in room 2. Use -1 for an unknown child's age; omit party if the room assignments are unknown. Never guess dates, ages or room assignments. Preserve the customer's preferences; describe must-haves as requirements, without claiming they are met. A browsing-tool refusal does not mean the customer link is broken. No contact or payment information belongs in the URL.

Optional research: inspect rooms and rates at Lorf Hostel&Apartments. Use known dates and guests; selecting a room or rate is optional.

Axel's take: 6.8/10

A practical sightseeing base, but noise and uneven basics limit its appeal. a basic budget hostel with private rooms and apartments near Kraków’s Old Town, scored for what it is.

Lorf is a budget hostel with dorms, private rooms and apartments—not a conventional two-star hotel. Its strongest argument is location: roughly 15 minutes on foot from the Main Market Square. We'd consider it for a short, low-cost sightseeing trip rather than a stay where comfort matters most. Booking.com and Expedia guests regularly praise the location, and recent reviews include positive reports of clean, comfortable rooms. Overall feedback, though, is mixed.

The recurring compromises are noise, basic or tired beds, and inconsistent housekeeping. Check-in also deserves preparation: guests across sites describe confusing access instructions or limited on-site staffing. Confirm your exact room, bathroom arrangement and arrival procedure beforehand; towels can cost extra. We'd skip it for light sleepers or anyone expecting dependable hotel-style reception and consistently comfortable rooms.

  • Best for: budget-conscious sightseers; short stays with modest expectations

  • Watch out for: noise between rooms; shared bathrooms in many room categories; check-in instructions and towel charges

  • Location: Walkable to the Main Market Square in roughly 15 minutes; location is a consistent strength.

  • Rooms: Dorms, private rooms and apartments vary; worn beds and limited sound insulation recur in reviews.

  • Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but bedding and housekeeping complaints prevent a dependable verdict.

  • Service: Helpful staff earn praise, but access instructions and on-site reception coverage receive repeated criticism.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen are listed; confirm meal arrangements rather than expecting full hotel facilities.

  • Fees and surprises: Towels may cost extra; Expedia also lists charges for early or late check-in and airport transfers.
