Axel's take: 7.7/10

A practical Full Moon Party base, but choose your room carefully. A simple 3-star beachfront resort in Haad Rin, scored for what it is.

Neptune's Villa is a simple 3-star resort on Haad Rin's sunset side, with bungalows, hotel rooms and dorm beds rather than a uniform villa experience. It's a good pick for travelers who want Full Moon Party access without sleeping directly on the party beach: the walk is roughly five to ten minutes. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the pool, helpful staff and convenient location, with generally positive cleanliness feedback.

The catch is uneven accommodation. Some rooms feel spacious and comfortable; others draw complaints about wear, cramped layouts and basic bathrooms. Two 2026 Trip.com reviewers also report slow air-conditioning. Check the exact category, since the cheapest options can lack windows or balconies. We'd choose it for a sociable Haad Rin stay, but skip it if reliably polished rooms and a beach-lounging holiday are the priorities.

Best for: Full Moon Party visitors; Friends wanting a pool and walkable restaurants; Travelers comfortable with simple resort rooms
Watch out for: Room quality varies considerably by category; Some budget rooms lack windows or balconies; Recent reports of slow air-conditioning
Location: Sunset-side Haad Rin, near the local pier and roughly five to ten minutes' walk from the party beach.
Rooms: Wide range from dorms to beachfront rooms; check the category rather than relying on general property photos.
Cleanliness: Generally positive across sites, though some recent guests report housekeeping or condition shortcomings.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength in Expedia and Trip.com reviews.
Amenities: Outdoor pool, restaurant, Wi-Fi and beachfront access; the pool is a more dependable draw than beach lounging.
Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra unless included in your booking; confirm room features and meal inclusions.
